Podcasts of CEO Roundtable and Asian investors

[The Boardroom Verdict]"A collection of feedback from the visionary CEOs and institutional investors who have joined my 'CEO Roundtable' and 'Asian Investors' podcasts. These are not just testimonials; they are reflections of the trust built at the intersection of capital and narrative."

“David brings a unique perspective to solving the comprehension gap between Africa and Asia, through interviewing Africa-based startup founders and Asia-based investors and identifying common patterns and interests.    I enjoyed the discussion with David and am encouraged by his efforts to help demystify the African operating environment for Asian investors.”

Greg Murray, Founder and CEO, Koko networks based in Kenya

“David and his podcasts are bridging two really important markets. In the next several decades, the African population and influence on culture and economics will grow to rival that of Asia. By 2100, more than 80% of the world's population will live on these two continents. In the short term, African entrepreneurs can learn a lot from their counterparts in Asia who are just ahead of us on the journey of building a robust technology and business ecosystem. As Africa's technology companies and economies grow, the relationships developed will become the foundations for important trade relationships. David's questions contextualize the work of African entrepreneurs in this backdrop and start to build the connective tissues of knowledge between these two markets”

“ David is a great guy! His insights into the industry and willingness to help out with advice are invaluable to entrepreneurs. This initiative and the resultant podcasts are definitely worth supporting and will certainly give a boost to a lot of entrepreneurial journeys!”

Chibuzo Opara, Founder and CEO, Drugstoc based in Nigeria (a leading online distribution platform of medicine)

“Grateful for the work David Kim is doing to provide a platform for entrepreneurs in Africa to build bridges with Asian investors”

“David is both capable and passionate, which is why his initiative of creating a bridge between emerging markets and Asian capital can indeed succeed. He puts a lot of energy and professionalism into what he does and that inspires confidence in stakeholders, such as entrepreneurs and investors.

With technological evolution and unprecedented liquidity, I believe that emerging markets and Africa in particular are ripe for strong and sustained growth. This requires the right type of patient and informed investor to back entrepreneurs with a local footprint. David’s initiative targets exactly that, starting from awareness and the creation of relationships.”

It was a great pleasure to be interviewed by David Kim for his Podcast- CEO Roundtable- Bridging Asia. For one, this show fills a huge gap in the podcast world by introducing African and Africa-based entrepreneurs to Asian listeners. David is very knowledgeable and is not afraid to ask tough questions. After our conversation, I came away feeling I had quite a few things to reflect upon and I also thoroughly enjoyed gaining insight from other CEOs and entrepreneurs in the same space, as well as learning about the investor scene.
